The Union Inn

Popped in here for food as we liked the menu choices. Nicely decorated, really liked all the twinkling lights on the ceiling at the back area. Food was really tasty. What a pile of meat in the steak pie. Decent prices. Music on, weekend nights.

Popped in here for lunch today, wow what a gem. The food was excellent and my baguette was the best I've ever had. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend, we will definitely return.

Cozy pub, delicious food, huge portions („there is no 'small' in here“), and great live music. But the absolute highlight of our night was the service: we had the warmest, funniest, and friendliest waitress ever! If you are looking for great food, awesome music, and wonderful people, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

Well the lady behind the bar was freindly and helped pick out a local gin. So we got our drinks and I nipped upstairs to use the facilities. The door to the ladies was open but with a sign for keycode which I thought was a bit odd, assumed they left it open. As I went downstairs I was met by the most unfriendly member of staff grilling me about key codes, I really had no idea what shd was on about at first but find it frankly ridiculous that she made such a palava to an OAP who had spent good money at the bar. I won't be back. Don't deserve to be treated like that anytime. My money is better spent somewhere else with people with better manners!

there were live music on saturday night. it was really great to dance and party. then we came back on sunday for dinner. we had some mussels. it was the best dish i’ve had in st ives. we had some sirloin steak (it was awsome) also the pepper sauce was delicious. and tried the sunday roast with pork belly. it was a bit plain but huge portions. overall great place with great service.

stopped on a very hot, busy saturday for a drink. my husband had rattler cider which he enjoyed. staff were lovely, i couldn't get the code on the toilet to work and one of the bar staff came upstairs and unlocked it for me even though they were busy with food,

I love a Sunday Roast, especially when away on holiday. I googled pubs doing Sunday Roasts in St Ives and opted for The Union Inn as reviews were really good. Wow, I was not disappointed. The pub had a lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. Plenty of it and piping hot. A lovely lady called Margaret brought our food and I have honestly never met such a thoughtful, caring, attentive person. Thank you Margaret for making our visit even better. You are one in a million
